Controls TechnicianHiFyve is hiring a Controls Technician in the Manufacturing industry in Columbus, OH!Pay: $34–$36/hr + $0.50/hr shift differentialShift: 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM (Mon–Fri + mandatory OT)Location: Columbus, OHBenefits: Full benefits packageAbout the RoleThis role supports plant operations through electrical and automation troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of production equipment.Job ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and control systemsSupport PLC and robot programming/troubleshootingPerform preventative and reactive maintenance on equipmentInstall and modify control panels, relays, and electrical systemsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagramsSupport equipment upgrades, installations, and improvement projectsMaintain documentation and ensure system updates are capturedFollow all safety procedures including LOTO and electrical standardsQualificationsAssociate degree or 1–2+ years of related experienceStrong electrical troubleshooting and controls knowledgeExperience with PLCs, robotics, and automation systemsAbility to read electrical schematics and technical documentationKnowledge of OSHA, NEC, and safety practicesAbility to work independently and handle high-pressure situationsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsIf you're interested, please apply!
