Surveyor

Licensure: Active Ohio Professional Surveyor (PS) license required NRM is seeking an experienced Professional Surveyor to provide technical leadership for our surveying practice. This is a senior role for a seasoned professional who brings deep technical expertise, sound judgment, strong client relationships, and an interest in helping develop the next generation of surveying professionals. What You’ll Do Serve as Surveyor of Record and provide professional oversight for surveying projects Lead complex boundary analysis, ALTA surveys, plats, legal descriptions, easements, topographic surveys, and related work Establish and maintain strong QA/QC standards for survey deliverables Manage projects, budgets, schedules, proposals, and client relationships Work directly with municipalities, utilities, developers, attorneys, engineers, and other project stakeholders Provide technical guidance on GNSS, geodetic control, coordinate systems, LiDAR, GIS, and evolving survey technologies Mentor survey staff and support team members pursuing professional licensure What We’re Looking For Active Ohio Professional Surveyor (PS) license in good standing Extensive progressive surveying experience, including leadership responsibilities Deep knowledge of Ohio boundary law and land records research Experience with ALTA surveys and complex boundary resolution Strong project management and client relationship skills A commitment to technical excellence, professional integrity, and developing others Experience with ODOT and municipal projects, multi-state licensure, or a degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or a related field is a plus.
