Beyond clinical care, our Family Services team supports thousands of families across the region with programs that help meet essential needs and reduce barriers that impact health and well-being.At CHP, our mission is to provide access to health care for everyone.Salary Range: $18.00 - $21.00 / hour The Medical Receptionist welcomes patients to the Health Center and checks all pre-exam requirements including patient information. This person collects co-payment and notifies the clinic that patients have arrived for their appointments. The Receptionist is responsible for the provider's schedules and ensures that patients and providers are notified accordingly. This person will support CHP's mission, vision, and values and will adhere to compliance protocols as well as CHP's policies and proceduresMedical Receptionist Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Welcome patients to the Health Center; Perform clerical duties as requested.Conduct scheduling/reminder/re-scheduling phone calls to patients.solicit feedback to improve performance.complete tasks correctly and on time with limited supervision; step in when needed and cross train for additional site coverage; respond promptly to requests for service and assistance.complete administrative duties accurately and timely.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Spanish speaking/bilingual is a plus.Function in a busy office setting.Manage difficult or emotional customer situations.Respond to requests for service and assistance.FlexibleFULL-TIME/PART-TIME Full-TimePOSITION Medical ReceptionistLOCATION MA, Pittsfield, CHP Berkshire PediatricsAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.18-21 Hourly Wage
