Electronic TechnicianQuality TechnicianThis is an exceptional opportunity to work with an Oil&Gas Services company in Katy, Texas Job Description: Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.50 depending on experience plus overtime, Medical, Dental and Vision under a W-2 Contract to Hire Hours: 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, weekends on callJob Summary:Perform maintenance, testing, and repair of electronic and electromechanical equipment (e.g., rotary control units)Use diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, calipers) to troubleshoot issuesAssemble and build components such as bearing packsConduct testing (including flow loop testing) and basic programming tasksSupport failure investigations and continuous improvement initiativesWork within assigned workstation areas and rotate tasks periodicallyMaintain production targets and support equipment turnaround efficiencyExperience & Skills Required:Minimum: 2 years relevant experience, or equivalent education (2-year technical degree in electronics technology) / military maintenance backgroundAbility to use: multimeters, basic hand tools, oscilloscopes and measuring devicesStrong computer skills and ability to navigate business systemsBasic understanding of electronics and some mechanical aptitudePreferred:Experience with rotary steerable or similar oilfield equipment (for higher pay range)Soldering experience (ISO certifications a plus but not required)Note that if you get hired you must undergo a background check, a driving records check and a drug screening
