While primarily remote, being part of a community-health-oriented clinic means you will frequently engage with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers. Our standard work schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some potential adjustment to accommodate the needs of our patients.Key Responsibilities\n\n Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of each patient and formulate individualized treatment plans.\n Deliver a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, tailored to each patient's circumstances.\n Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, creating a supportive community for those grappling with similar mental health issues.\n Work collaboratively with other mental health professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care and treatment.\n Provide immediate crisis intervention services and offer guidance during psychiatric emergencies.\n Educate clients on their mental health conditions, explore effective treatment options, and connect them with community resources for further support.\n Maintain accurate and confidential patient records as per legal and ethical guidelines, leveraging electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.\n Engage in regular case consultations and professional development to stay current with the latest research and therapeutic practices.\nPatient Population / Client Focus\nOur therapists will have the opportunity to work with a varied patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. This role demands cultural competency and sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds and needs of our clients. Therapists can expect to work with individuals facing common mental health difficulties, enabling them to foster personal growth and resilience.Qualifications\n\n A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.\n Valid licensure as either an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.\n Strong knowledge of mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.\n Demonstrated experience conducting comprehensive assessments and crafting effective treatment plans.\n Proficiency in delivering individual and group therapy to a wide array of clientele.\n Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients and team members alike.\n Commitment to ethical practice and professional boundaries in all interactions.\n Familiarity with electronic health records and necessary computer applications.\n Willingness to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented approach to patient care.\nPreferred Experience\n\n Previous experience working in outpatient psychiatric settings or community health clinics.\n Experience in crisis intervention and working with diverse populations is highly desirable.\n A background in leading support groups or educational workshops related to mental health.\nCompensation and Benefits\nThe annual salary for this position ranges between USD 80,000 and 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
