Senior Estimator – Heavy Civil Construction | Atlanta, GA

We are partnering with a growing heavy civil contractor in Atlanta that is looking to add an experienced Senior Estimator to its leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Lead estimating efforts for heavy civil construction projects

✔ Prepare detailed cost estimates, takeoffs, and bid submissions

✔ Review plans, specifications, and project documentation

✔ Develop pricing strategies and evaluate subcontractor/vendor proposals

✔ Manage and mentor a small estimating team

✔ Support business development initiatives and client relationships

✔ Participate in preconstruction planning and bid strategy discussions

✔ Collaborate closely with operations and project management teams

✔ Identify project risks and opportunities during the tender phase

What We're Looking For

✅ Proven estimating experience within heavy civil construction

✅ Background in civil infrastructure, site development, utilities, grading, earthworks, or related sectors

✅ Experience leading or mentoring junior estimators

✅ Strong communication, relationship-building, and commercial awareness

✅ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

✅ Willingness to work from the Atlanta office at least 4 days per week
