Registered Nurse – Emergency Medicine

Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40.00 hours per week

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
• At least two years recent experience in field: Required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team in providing patient care in a safe and healing environment.
• Evaluate patient progress toward attaining health outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Provide health information and learning opportunities for patients and family members.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
