Commercial Cleaner Position

As a Commercial Cleaner for CBRE, GDS, you will be responsible for performing basic cleaning tasks. This includes mopping, sweeping, and waste removal. You will also be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the areas assigned to you.

Key Responsibilities of the Position:

• Provide daily cleaning support in high-traffic areas of the building designated by the supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, clean, and mop storage areas, hallways, bathrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment, which includes moving and rearranging furniture.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are maintained in a safe and secure area at all times.
• Complete the standardized cleaning process in accordance with company standards.
• Follow procedures for the use of cleaning chemicals and electrical equipment.
• Attend all regular staff meetings and mandatory training sessions.
• Follow basic work routines and standards in the execution of duties.
• Utilize existing procedures to resolve simple problems, with limited opportunities to exercise discretion.

Education, Experience, and Certification:

• REQUIRED: High school diploma or equivalent.
• REQUIRED: Two (2) years of related work experience.

Work Conditions:

• Occasional exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, among others.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and moving furniture.
• Ability to follow basic work routines.
• Skill in effective communication.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Ability to efficiently complete assigned tasks within established deadlines.
• Reliable and responsible individual, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
