If this sounds like the opportunity that you have been looking for, please apply.We are currently looking for Full Time, All Shifts and Part Time, All Shifts Medication Technicians for The Barclay at Midlothian.Primary Responsibilities of the Medication Technician:Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.Assures medication management program is provided in an accurate, professional, and effective way according to The Barclay standards and state regulations.Must understand and be able to provide explanation about the medication dosage/pharmacology when needed Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records.Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.RequirementsMust have a caring heart and willingness to serve othersHigh School Diploma/GED EquivalentCurrent Medication Technician License issued by the Virginia Board of NursingCPR/First Aid required or able to obtain within first 90 days of employmentMust be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidaysExperience working with older adults preferredEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
