About the Position

License: Pending license accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Required experience in circulating cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. Description: This position requires a registered nurse with experience in CVOR. The work schedule consists of 3 twelve-hour shifts from 06:15 AM to 06:45 PM. Experience in circulating for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures is required. Scrub skills are not required for the day shift, but they are highly preferred. The candidate should possess BLS and ACLS certifications. The nurse will float within the service line as needed. On-call duty may be required, and it can vary based on unit needs. The department handles emergent cases and requires a high level of care. This role requires experience with cardiac and thoracic cases primarily. Experience with vascular, transplant, and pancreatic procedures is also needed. The expected turnaround time from call to clock-in is 40 minutes. The maximum time for emergency cases is 60 minutes from request to OR time. All staff are responsible for entering missing instruments into the system. This position demands flexibility as call shifts may vary based on departmental needs. Candidates should be able to work weekend shifts as required by policy. The facility operates a fast-paced environment with the highest level of care in the region.
