Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or autonomously (as per credentialing)
• Guiding patients and families with essential education on health promotion, disease prevention, and management
• Prescribing medication and therapies in accordance with professional practice standards
• Engaging in long-term patient follow-up and managing chronic health conditions
• Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records using electronic health record systems (EHR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Needed

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Missouri
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the willingness to complete within 90 days)
