About This Role

Chroma Early Learning is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and trustworthy Treasury Manager to oversee the company’s daily cash management, payment processing, banking activities, and financial transactions. This position will play an important role in ensuring payments are processed accurately and on time while maintaining strong financial controls and organized records.

The ideal candidate will have experience in treasury, accounts payable, banking, accounting, or financial administration. Previous experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Manage and oversee the company’s daily payment processing and financial transactions.

Process and coordinate payments to vendors, suppliers, landlords, service providers, and other business partners.

Manage electronic payments, ACH transactions, wires, checks, and other payment methods.

Monitor company bank accounts and assist with daily cash management.

Review payment requests and supporting documentation for accuracy and proper approval.

Maintain organized records of payments, transactions, and banking activity.

Assist with bank reconciliations and research discrepancies or unusual transactions.

Monitor cash balances and ensure funds are available for upcoming payments and obligations.

Coordinate with banks and financial institutions regarding account activity, transactions, and account maintenance.

Assist with opening, closing, and maintaining company bank accounts as needed.

Maintain appropriate controls and approval processes to help prevent payment errors and fraud.

Monitor recurring payments and ensure bills and financial obligations are paid timely.

Assist with managing company credit cards, purchasing cards, and other payment accounts.

Track and maintain payment schedules and important financial deadlines.

Communicate with vendors regarding payment status, account information, and payment discrepancies.

Work closely with accounting, payroll, HR, and management to coordinate financial transactions.

Maintain confidential financial and banking information.

Prepare reports and summaries related to cash flow, payments, and banking activity.

Assist with audits and provide requested financial documentation.

Identify opportunities to improve payment processes, controls, and efficiency.

Perform other financial and administrative duties and special projects as assigne

Previous experience in treasury, accounting, accounts payable, banking, finance, or financial administration preferred .

No specific degree required.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Comfortable handling confidential financial information.

Strong understanding of payment processing and financial transactions.

Proficient with computers, email, spreadsheets, and financial/accounting software.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple payments, deadlines, and priorities.

High level of integrity and discretion.

Ability to learn company systems and procedures.

Childcare industry experience is not required.

Willingness to train and learn Chroma Early Learning's specific financial processes
