You will enjoy this role if: You crave the opportunity to be part of a fast growing, family office practice where your hard work and creativity will be rewardedYou do your best work when you are part of a talented, down-to-earth team that thrives in collaboration and truly enjoys working togetherYou feel valued when you are provided the resources and support to continually sharpen your technical skills and build your career now, for tomorrowWhat you will do:Responsible for providing multiple clients with a variety of accounting and administrative services, including but not limited to:Responsibility for the full accounting processes, i.e. maintaining the general ledger, generating and posting all journal entries in a timely manner, coordinating monthly close, maintaining budgets and reporting on budget to actual, and preparing monthly/quarterly financial statements with related workpapersReviewing the accounts payable function and GL accountantsPayroll coordination with clients and the Family Office payroll teamManaging and reconciling numerous bank, brokerage and credit card accounts, overseeing staff and reviewing workPerforming reconciliations and analysis for balance sheet accounts, including inter-company accountsOversee the year-end reporting and preparation of 1099sAssisting in preparation of quarterly and annual tax packages and supporting documentsResponding to client requests and inquiriesInvolvement managing some client relationships and outside vendors as neededHandling special projects as needed.Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clientsEnjoy friendships, social activities and team outings that encourage a work-life balanceSuccessful candidates will have: Bachelor's degree requiredCPA eligible preferred3 years of progressive accounting experience2 plus years of professional services experience preferredProficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and QuickBooksStrong project management and client service skillsSolid understanding and working knowledge of GAAP and financial statementsHigh attention to detail, problem solver & intellectually curiousAdhere to the highest level of confidentialitySummaryLocation: USA TX Frisco; USA TX Dallas 14555 Dallas ParkwayType: Full time
