Registered Nurse (RN) - OB/GYN - Physician Practice Group

Job Description

Immediate contract opportunity for an Registered Nurse (RN) with our OBGYN Physician Practice Group in Islip, NY.

Pay Rate: $60.00/hr
Work Schedule:

10am-6pm (Monday to Thursday)
9am-1pm (Friday)

Contract Details:

Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 3 to 4 months (possible extension)

Responsibilities:

Medical history, chart review, patient assessment, phlebotomy, testing, obstetric monitoring and injections
Handle physician messages and patient correspondence regarding testing and lab results
Assist physicians as needed

Qualifications:

NYS RN License and BLS Certification
Experience in OBGYN required
Excellent interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication skills
Multi-disciplinary team collaboration and analytical problem solving
Be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Experience with electronic documentation, Epic a plus
