This state hospital provides comprehensive primary care services to adult patients with mental health disorders in an outpatient setting. The facility maintains full-time clinical support staff, including behavioral health specialists, medical assistants, registered nurses, physicians, and advanced practice providers, to ensure quality patient care delivery. The hospital operates during standard business hours with established protocols for managing psychiatric patient populations requiring primary care services.

About the Clinician's Workday

The physician associate will provide comprehensive family medicine services to adult patients with mental health disorders Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, managing 12-17 patients daily. Clinical responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, delivering primary care services, and managing medical conditions for the adult psychiatric population. The clinician will work collaboratively with on-site clinical support staff including physicians, advanced practice providers, medical assistants, registered nurses, and behavioral health specialists.
