This position requires precision and attention to detail to manage assembly lines, press machines, and mold machines, contributing directly to the manufacturing workflow. The operator is responsible for setting up equipment, monitoring machine performance, and making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal production standards. Safety and adherence to operational protocols are paramount to prevent accidents and ensure a smooth production environment. Ultimately, the Machine Operator helps drive productivity and product quality, supporting the company’s commitment to delivering durable goods that meet customer expectations. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing environment. Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools such as micrometers and clamp trucks. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions. Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards. Preferred Qualifications: Certification or training in machine operation or manufacturing technology. Experience working with durable goods manufacturing processes. Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures for production equipment. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices. Ability to operate overhead cranes and other heavy lifting equipment safely. Responsibilities: Operate and monitor assembly line machinery, including press machines, mold machines, and band saws, to produce components according to specifications. Set up and adjust machines using tools such as micrometers and clamps to ensure precision and quality in manufacturing processes. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on production machinery to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency. Utilize overhead cranes and clamp trucks to safely move heavy materials and components within the production area. Conduct deburring and finishing tasks to remove imperfections and prepare parts for the next stage of production. Maintain accurate production records and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly. Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Skills: The required skills such as operating assembly lines, press machines, and mold machines are essential for daily production tasks, ensuring components are manufactured accurately and efficiently. Proficiency with tools like micrometers and clamp trucks enables precise adjustments and safe handling of materials, which directly impacts product quality and workplace safety. Skills in deburring and using band saws contribute to the finishing processes, preparing parts for assembly or shipment.
