Clerk - Deli Worker

divh2Deli Clerk/h2pA Deli Clerks responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:/ppPreparing, slicing, wrapping, weighing, pricing, and merchandising the departments deli products./ppThey work with equipment like oven, fryer, microwave, cutting tools, scale and other Deli equipment./ppUse store signs to promote daily and weekly specials./ppProviding premier customer service, including greeting them and responding to questions/ppMaintaining high standards for product freshness and sanitation/ppSelecting and packaging products ordered by customers/ppFilling, maintaining and rotating products and displays/ppPreparing special orders/ppAssisting in other duties, as assigned/ppWork includes walking, standing for prolonged periods, and lifting deli products weighing up to 50 pounds./ppDuties also include frequent interaction with customers and associates/ppQualifications:/ppMust be at least 18 years of age./ppHigh school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience./ppAble to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service/ppAble to read, write and perform simple math problems/ppAble to interpret, understand and follow instructions and solve problems/ppPreferred:/ppThe preferred qualifications are as follows:/ppFood preparation experience/ppAble to work well with others as a team member/ppPrevious experience/ppA passion for serving people/p/div
