Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) / Nights / Various Locations

Role Overview The Respiratory Therapist II provides advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment, primarily in critical care settings. Key Responsibilities Delivering patient-centered care, collaborating with healthcare teams, managing ventilators, performing airway procedures, arterial blood gas sampling, and educating patients and staff. Ensures safe, high-quality care by promoting evidence-based practices, accurate documentation, patient safety, and participating in performance improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Skills Requires an associate's or bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy, with NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications. 0-2 years of clinical experience, including at least 6 months in critical care. Must have strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills, and the ability to establish effective relationships with healthcare professionals. Additional Duties Mentoring new employees, students, and peers, supporting invasive and diagnostic procedures, and adhering to organizational policies.
