Lake Region Behavioral Health Clinic is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist - Youth in Devils Lake, ND. As a team member for ND Department of Health & Human Services, you will ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high-quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover. Be part of an interdisciplinary team that provides individuals opportunity for recovery management so they can live and work independently in their home and community. In a typical week, you will complete assessments and service plans. You will be involved in the organizing, directing, and guiding of care provided by other team members, as well as ongoing monitoring and update of service recommendations. You will provide individual, family, and/or group therapy. You will provide crisis intervention and risk assessments in the office, in the community and periodic oncall (if needed). Also, you will provide education and consultation to families, community, interns, and residents. Because services are provided in homes and communities, travel is a norm. Location This position provides essential client services face to face and therefore the person in this position needs to be able to travel to meet clients at their location. Minimum Qualifications The Clinician position, you are required to have a master's degrees in Social Work, Counseling, or areas approved by the North Dakota Board of Counseling Examiners and ND licensure as a LCSW or LPCC. or masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy AND licensure as LMFT by the ND Board of Marriage and Family Therapy or a masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology with eligibility for licensure as LMFT by the ND Board of Marriage and Family Therapy. or a Doctorate in Psychology and ND licensure as a psychologist by the ND Board of Psychologist Examiners. We will consider filling this position as a Human Relations Counselor at a reduced rate, must have a master's degrees in Counseling and LAPC licensure, as well as be within two years of LPCC licensure. Details regarding licensure status and the number of training hours already obtained must be submitted with the application. Or a master's degree in Social Work and LMSW licensure Or a master's degree in Counseling and LPC licensure If unable to find qualified candidate, we would be willing to fill this position with someone who would meet qualifications as a BMod Specialist working towards the qualifications of a Human Relations Counselor (see above) within 3-6 months. A BMod Specialist must have a Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, child development and family science, human services, marriage and family therapy, applied behavioral analysis, speech pathology, therapeutic recreation, occupational therapy, behavioral health, or communication disorders. Or a bachelor's degree in one of the above fields and two years of work experience in the respective discipline. The work experience must be in a professional setting and supervised by a licensed practitioner in a related field. ND Medicaid may approve related degrees at its discretion. This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new hire orientation.
