Gerald Jones Auto Group is seeking an experienced automotive leader to serve as General Manager of Gerald Jones Ford in Augusta, Georgia .

This is a significant opportunity for a proven dealership operator to lead and grow an established Ford dealership in a metro market of approximately 600,000 people, with the potential for approximately 1,800 new Ford vehicle sales annually .

The General Manager will have overall responsibility for the performance of the dealership, providing leadership across Sales, Finance, Service, Parts, and overall store operations.

As General Manager, you will:

• Provide overall leadership and direction for dealership operations, including Sales, F&I, Service, Parts, and administrative functions.

• Develop and execute strategies to grow market share and achieve dealership sales, gross profit, expense, and customer satisfaction objectives.

• Maximize the dealership's new and pre-owned vehicle sales opportunities within the Augusta market.

• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing department leaders and team members.

• Establish clear performance expectations and hold department leaders accountable for results.

• Review dealership financial statements, forecasts, departmental performance, inventory, expenses, and key performance indicators.

• Partner with department managers to identify opportunities to improve profitability, productivity, customer retention, and operational efficiency.

• Maintain a strong relationship with Ford Motor Company and ensure dealership performance aligns with manufacturer standards and objectives.

• Ensure new and pre-owned inventory levels, aging, pricing, and merchandising support dealership goals.

• Champion an exceptional customer experience and ensure customer concerns are addressed professionally and effectively.

• Maintain high standards for compliance, ethics, safety, and dealership policies.

• Build a collaborative culture focused on communication, accountability, professional development, and long-term success.

• Represent Gerald Jones Ford and Gerald Jones Auto Group professionally within the dealership and throughout the Augusta community.

The successful candidate will be an experienced automotive retail leader with a demonstrated ability to successfully operate and grow a dealership.

Qualifications include:

• Significant automotive dealership management experience required.

• Previous General Manager, General Sales Manager, or comparable senior dealership leadership experience strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated success growing new and pre-owned vehicle sales and dealership market share.

• Proven ability to manage dealership profitability and departmental performance.

• Strong understanding of dealership financial statements, forecasting, expense management, inventory, and operational KPIs.

• Experience leading and developing managers across multiple dealership departments.

• Strong knowledge of automotive retail sales, F&I, fixed operations, customer experience, and manufacturer expectations.

• Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to establish accountability while building a positive and professional workplace.

• Ford dealership and/or Ford Motor Company experience preferred.
