Direct Support ProfessionalVodec is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Direct Support Professional. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a key role in providing support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who participate in our day habilitation program. This is a rewarding position where you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others."By helping others reach their potential, you reach yours."Available Position:Full-time; 40 hours per weekMonday-Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pmWage: $17.50 per hourHiring Bonus: $1,000 (paid in one increment after six months of continued employment)As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for assisting individuals with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal planning and preparation, nutrition and cooking classes, medication administration, and household tasks. You will also provide emotional support, encourage community engagement and socialization, and assist with transportation to appointments or activities.
