Mentor Coach

Position Summary: The mentor coach is responsible for providing coaching, guided reflections, training, and support to Head Start/Early Head Start classroom staff on best practices related to early learning, school readiness, teacher-interaction and supporting emotional development. The mentor coach also coordinates and facilitates group-based professional development for teachers to work collaboratively to share reflections, example practice, solve application challenges, manage conflict, and promote continuous learning and improvement in professional practice and child outcomes. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Educaton, Child Development or Elementary with an emphasis in early childhood. Minimum of 3 years of successful experience in a preschoold classroom. Knowledgeable of Early Childhood Education and Developmentally Best Practices and innovate approaches to classroom management.
