Personal Injury Case Manager 

Law Offices | San Antonio, TX

Full-time opportunity | $16 - $20 per hour, based on experience

We are an established San Antonio law firm with more than 30 years under the same ownership, seeking an experienced Personal Injury Case Manager to join our team.

We offer a stable, professional work environment and are looking for someone interested in a long-term position with an established practice. Our office is 100% paperless and technology driven, making strong computer skills an essential requirement for this position. This role requires you to work primarily on the computer, learn new software, manage electronic files and efficiently navigate multiple programs. This position is based entirely in our San Antonio, TX office and requires a full time on site presence. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role. 

Your role and responsibilities:

• Conducting new client intakes and collecting accident injury, insurance, medical treatment information.
• Open and accurately set up new cases in the case management system.
• Establish insurance claims and obtain claim numbers, adjuster information, policy details and available coverage. 
• Prepare and send letters of representation. 
• Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding treatment and case status.
• Monitor medical treatment and keep case information current.
• Request and follow up on medical records and itemized bills from medical providers and facilities.
• Organize and maintain complete electronic case files and medical documentation.
• Track outstanding records, bills, liens, balances, deadlines, and other case-related matters.
• Communicate professionally with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other parties.
• Monitor case deadlines and ensure outstanding tasks are completed promptly.
• Assist attorneys with preparing cases for demands, settlement negotiations, and continued case handling.

Qualifications:

• Prior personal injury law firm background strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in client intake, case setup, insurance claims, and carrier communication.
• Knowledge of obtaining medical records and itemized bills.
• Advanced computer and technology skills required.
• Familiarity with paperless, electronic case management systems strongly preferred.
• Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities effectively.

Monday - Friday
8:00 AM CDT - 5:00 PM CDT
San Antonio, Texas | Full-time, In-Office
