Job Description Summary

Dauch is looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our team in Claremont NC. This is a fully onsite position.

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading all warehouse operations within the Claremont Distribution Center ensuring the safe efficient and accurate receipt storage inventory management and shipment of materials and finished goods. This position drives operational excellence through effective leadership continuous improvement inventory accuracy and adherence to customer quality and safety requirements in a fast-paced Tier 1 automotive environment.

Job Description:

• Leads daily warehouse operations including receiving shipping inventory control material handling and warehouse staffing.
• Ensures compliance with customer delivery requirements and maintain on-time shipment performance.
• Manages inventory accuracy through cycle counting physical inventories location control and transaction discipline.
• Develops coaches and leads warehouse supervisors and team members to achieve operational objectives.
• Monitors and improves key performance indicators (KPIs) including safety quality delivery productivity inventory accuracy and cost.
• Coordinates with Production Supply Chain Planning Customer Service and Transportation teams to support business requirements.
• Ensures compliance with all OSHA environmental company and customer requirements.
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing 5S and problem-solving methodologies.
• Develops labor plans and manages staffing levels to meet operational demands while controlling costs.
• Investigates and resolves inventory discrepancies shipment issues customer concerns and operational disruptions.
• Oversees warehouse equipment storage systems and facility organization to support efficient operations.
• Supports internal and external audits customer visits and compliance assessments.
• Manages warehouse budgets labor utilization and operating expenses.
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

• Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration Operations Management or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of relevant Warehouse Logistics or Distribution experience.
• 3 years of leadership experience within a warehouse distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of inventory management shipping receiving transportation and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
• Excellent leadership communication organizational and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Knowledge of JIT delivery ASN processing EDI transactions and customer logistics requirements.
• APICS CPIM CSCP Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion SAP or similar ERP platforms.
• OSHA 30 certification or advanced safety training.
