Role Overview: An Acute Registered Nurse provides specialized dialysis care within a hospital setting, supporting patient treatment, education, and outcomes improvement. Key Responsibilities: Administer medications, perform physical assessments, operate and troubleshoot dialysis equipment, ensure compliance with regulations, and collaborate with healthcare professionals. Operational Duties: Maintain safety protocols, manage supplies, document patient information accurately, and participate in infection control and quality assurance activities. Team & Patient Interaction: Lead staff, assist in training, address patient concerns professionally, and foster effective communication with physicians and hospital staff. Qualifications: Current RN license, CPR certification, basic computer skills, and preferred dialysis experience. Ability to pass color screening and meet practice requirements.
