Processing TechnicianThe Processing Technician role is an essential role for processing harvested material. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated experience working in an operation that adheres to strict health and safety policies and procedures. Candidates must be physically able to sit, stand and kneel for periods of time exceeding 4 hours.Core Job DutiesProcessing harvested flower materialGrating and sorting processed materialWeighing and logging materialCollecting samples and performing tests to ensure qualityMaintaining a sanitary work environmentSafely transport products from workspace to storage areaEnsure inflow and outflow material meets Quality specificationsEnsure that all functions are performed to the highest standard of quality and complianceStarting and stopping equipment at beginning and end-of-shift, respectivelyAdjusting M9-Sorter and Mobius setting controls (vacuum, blades, tumbler, tilt, infeed & outfeed speeds) for machine runs, as well as making sure all grind/sift equipment is functioning as intendedMonitoring inbound and outbound material to ensure quality and process standards are adhered toEnsuring proper cleaning of equipment while adhering to safety specificationsMonitoring room conditions and informing leadership when conditions are out of specificationEnsuring cleaning and machine run logs are filled out properlyEnsuring team follows all GMP protocols including wearing proper PPE (ear plugs, hair nets, disposable gloves, cut-resistant gloves, and company provided captive scrubs).Required Experience, Education and SkillsStrong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict policies and procedureAt least 1 year of experience working in food production or similar manufacturing environment preferred.Candidates must be physically able to sit, stand and kneel for periods of time exceeding 4 hours.Ability to measure, package and label in a precise mannerEffective time-management skills and ability to multi-taskAbility to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environmentPay Range $18 —$18 USDBenefitsCresco Labs is proud to offer eligible employees a robust offering of benefits including, major medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(K)-match program, FSA/HSA programs, LTD/STD options, life insurance and AD&D.
