Registered Nurse - MS/Tele-ER Border - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 Nights (19:30 - 08:00), every other weekend required, including holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the MS/Tele-ER Border department. This role involves fast-paced, high-volume patient care within a border unit, providing care to a wide variety of patients, including complex ED admissions.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within scope in an emergency and telemetry environment.
• Float between ED borders, extenders to MS/T, IMC units as needed.
• Manage diverse patient diagnoses with a focus on rapid assessment and interventions.
• Participate in care coordination and patient triage.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in MD or compact state required.
• BLS, ACLS, and CPI certifications required. NIHSS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Charge experience and community hospital experience are preferred.
