Join Our Team as a Cardiologist Specializing in Cardiac Electrophysiology

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist with a specialization in Cardiac Electrophysiology to become part of our dynamic team at the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, Indiana . This position is ideal for candidates who are eager to collaborate with a talented and collegial group of physicians.

The ideal candidate will prioritize clinical excellence, possess expertise in electrophysiology procedures, and demonstrate a commitment to patient satisfaction. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to foster strong relationships with both the community and existing medical staff are essential. The selected physician will work closely with all members of our Cardiology service line to ensure the delivery of top-notch patient care.

• Work in a highly regarded and successful single-hospital setting with no travel required.
• Engage in an academic environment that includes an active family medicine residency program, offering opportunities for resident teaching.
• Enjoy an employed position through our organization, which encourages physician autonomy while allowing for independent decision-making regarding policy and recruitment.
• Access to state-of-the-art Cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs located within a minute's walk from the clinic.
• Utilize a hybrid lab designed for structural heart procedures, supported by senior cardiologists and an interventional cardiology program.
• Participate in an active cardio-thoracic program with 24/7 coverage for your procedures.
• Maintain a clinic schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a general cardiology call rotation of 1:6.
• Average outpatient clinic volume of 18 to 20 patients per day.
• Benefit from excellent electrophysiology volume, joining a collegial team with a robust patient base that refers exclusively to in-house electrophysiologists.
• Receive support from nurse practitioners for both inpatient and outpatient care, along with additional nursing and medical assistant support at the clinic.

• Biosense Webster Cartosound Mapping system integrated with a GE recording system, enabling connectivity for cryoballoon ablations.

• Permanent Pacemaker implants
• Pacemaker Lead extractions (desirable but not mandatory)
• Leadless Pacemaker implants
• ICD & CRT-D implants
• Ablations for Atrial Fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, SVT, and VT Cryoablation
• Convergent procedures in collaboration with cardiovascular surgeons

There may be opportunities to participate in the active Watchman left atrial appendage closure program in collaboration with our structural heart interventional cardiologist.
