Associate Installation Technician - Upstate New York

Stryker

Stryker seeks an Associate Installation Technician to perform on-site installation, testing, and quality inspection of surgical lighting systems, video integration equipment, and related infrastructure in upstate New York hospitals. This field-based role requires 100% overnight travel Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

Install surgical light suspensions, surgical booms, video integration systems, and ancillary equipment on-site
Perform functional testing, programming, and quality inspection of all installed equipment per specifications
Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, contractors, and hospital staff to ensure proper installation and integration
Document equipment installations, maintain accurate records, and complete daily project status reports
Verify site readiness, identify infrastructure issues, and communicate with internal teams for resolution

Requirements

0-2 years technical experience in telecom, video/audio systems, electrical, construction, or medical device installation
Ability to read and interpret complex wiring diagrams and CAD drawings
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Valid driver's license and ability to operate motor vehicles safely
Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and work at heights on ladders
Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
