Qualifications & Desired Experience: Valid Educational Diagnostician certification Experience administering educational assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations regarding special education Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff Experience working at the intermediate or elementary school level preferred Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services Develop and interpret legally defensible assessment reports Participate in ARD/IEP meetings, providing guidance on academic interventions and accommodations Consult and collaborate with educators, specialists, and parents on student progress and supports Maintain records in compliance with all regulations and guidelines Support a positive and inclusive school culture by advocating for students' unique needs Benefit from a set, full-time Monday through Friday schedule, ideal for maintaining work-life balance while doing impactful work.
