Cybersecurity Technology Architect

Cybersecurity Analyst

Pay Rate: $75 - 100 per hour

Location: Concord, CA

Duration: 6 Months

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days work from home)

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily cybersecurity activity to determine if activity is malignant or benign and engage others as required
• Provide analysis on malware and escalate as appropriate to incident response teams
• Conduct baseline threat hunting based on intelligence for utility peers and other intelligence sources
• Provide hunting/analysis on phishing cases and reports of potential compromise/breach
• Perform proficient forensic analysis using security tools and monitoring systems to identify the source of anomalous security events
• Assist in performing basic research internally and externally
• Perform complex system administration tasks (e.g., customization, cross-tool integration) for security tools
• Develop a strategy to implement work in the department

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
• Information Technology Security certification
