Job Description
- Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and craft customized therapy approaches to help them achieve their functional ambitions
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based practices that enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities
- Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work in unison with fellow occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, holistic care
- Guide Patients and Caregivers: Educate patients and their families on effective therapy strategies to ensure continued progress at home
- Track and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on their path to recovery
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional certifications encouraged and supported
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
- A genuine passion for helping others achieve their maximum potential for independence
- Strong, empathetic communication skills that resonate with patients and team members
- Ability to think outside the box and adapt plans to suit various patient needs
