Step into an impactful role supporting students near Independence, MO as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the remainder of the academic year. This opportunity spans from February through the end of May, covering a maternity leave and offering consistent full-time hours (37.5 hours per week). Providing essential therapy and supervision, you’ll help ensure seamless services for students while collaborating with a motivated team.

Your position will involve working within a supportive school environment that leverages SPED Track for IEP management. You'll have the opportunity to directly supervise talented SLPAs and provide both in-person and potential VOCO (virtual) services. This rewarding contract role allows you to meaningfully contribute to student success and professional development for SLPAs in your team.

Successful candidates will bring:

• Speech-Language Pathology license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
• Previous experience providing speech services in a school setting
• Familiarity with developing, managing, and implementing IEPs
• Supervisory experience or aptitude for guiding SLPAs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable utilizing digital platforms for remote or VOCO services

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload of students
• Overseeing and supporting a team of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants
• Managing, tracking, and documenting student progress using SPED Track
• Collaborating closely with educators, parents, and staff to develop and adjust IEPs
• Flexibility to provide services both in person and through virtual (VOCO) platforms
