Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 5x8 shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM as needed
• On-call requirements: 1 weekday and 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks, including holidays
• 13-week contract with possible extension
• 1.5-2 years of experience required with travel experience required
• Must possess RT license to operate fluoro machines in West Virginia
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT
• Preferred certification: ARRT CI
• State license required (may submit with pending license but must post 1-2 weeks prior to start)
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures along with endovascular peripheral interventions
• Monitor patient hemodynamic status and document during procedures
• Scrub during endovascular procedures to assist physicians
• Set up equipment, prep access sites, and maintain sterile field
• Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and use rapid response team
• Work with specialized equipment including Siemens systems and PACS
• Perform cardiac catheterizations, stent placements, angioplasty procedures
• Handle IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, and temporary pacemaker procedures
• Maintain equipment and stock supplies
• Complete mandatory in-services, staff meetings, and competency assessments
