We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator with 10+ years of hands-on experience in welding and metal fabrication. This position is best suited for a skilled tradesperson who can work independently, read fabrication drawings, produce quality welds, and take ownership of their work from start to finish.

The right candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a consistent commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on structural steel, sheet metal, and custom fabrications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld specifications .
• Measure, cut, fit, tack, weld, grind, and assemble components to specification.
• Perform fabrication using plasma cutters, press brakes, saws, and other shop equipment .
• Use precision measuring tools including calipers and micrometers .
• Perform pipe threading, rigging, assembly, and material handling as required.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely when needed.
• Inspect completed work for proper dimensions, fit, finish, and weld quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work independently while coordinating with other members of the fabrication team to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional welding and fabrication experience required.
• Strong MIG and TIG welding skills.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings .
• Extensive experience with structural steel, sheet metal, and custom fabrication .
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
• Strong understanding of fit-up, measurements, tolerances, and weld quality .
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of ASME welding standards is a plus.
• Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
• Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to maintain consistent quality while meeting production deadlines.
