- # Event Marketing CoordinatorApply: Chicago, IL, United States: Full time: Posted Yesterday: JR\\_053925**Create unforgettable experiences that inspire and connect.**Resmed’s Americas Experience Marketing team is seeking an organized, adaptable, and collaborative Experience Marketing & Events Specialist to support the planning and execution of events, brand experiences, and activations across our Americas portfolio.This role will support a variety of programs based on business and team needs, including corporate events, trade shows, customer experiences, user conferences, and other strategic initiatives. Responsibilities will span event execution and the operational work that enables successful experiences, including logistics, project coordination, budget administration, vendor management, and team processes.**What You'll Do*** Support the planning and execution of corporate events, trade shows, customer experiences, brand activations, user conferences, and other assigned programs.* Coordinate event logistics including registration, housing, travel, shipping, food & beverage, AV, signage, branded materials, staffing, and vendor requirements.* Support event sourcing activities, including researching and evaluating venues, vendors, and event partners; coordinating proposals; and assisting with contracting and procurement processes.* Own assigned events or defined workstreams within larger programs, including Resmed’s annual user conference, managing timelines, deliverables, stakeholders, and vendors from planning through execution.* Provide flexible support across the Experience Marketing & Events team based on event volume, business priorities, and evolving needs.* Manage operational and financial processes including purchase orders, invoices, budget tracking, reconciliation, vendor documentation, and event reporting.* Maintain project plans, event calendars, trackers, shared resources, templates, documentation, and other team tools.* Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to gather requirements, communicate expectations, and ensure deadlines are met.* Support onsite event execution and attendee experience as needed.* Assist with post-event reporting, measurement, debriefs, and identification of opportunities for continuous improvement.* Use approved AI, automation, and digital tools to improve productivity, streamline repetitive work, support analysis and content development, and strengthen team processes.**What You Bring*** Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, hospitality, event management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.* 2+ years of experience in event planning, event marketing, marketing operations, hospitality, project coordination, or a related field.* Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment.* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners.* Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and willingness to take ownership of both event execution and operational responsibilities.* Experience with event budgets, invoicing, purchase orders, vendor management, or related financial processes preferred.* Comfortable using AI-enabled tools in day-to-day work, with sound judgment around accuracy, confidentiality, and responsible use.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with event and work management platforms such as Cvent, Asana, SharePoint, and Confluence, including their use for project management, documentation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing, preferred.* Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as needed, approximately 10–25%.**What Sets You Apart*** **Adaptability** - You pivot quickly and stay composed when priorities shift* **Operational Discipline** - You bring structure and consistency to complex, multi-layered projects* **Collaborative Spirit** - You work seamlessly across teams, vendors, and stakeholders to keep programs moving forward* **Solution-Oriented Mindset** - You anticipate challenges and find creative ways to overcome them* **Attention to Detail** - You ensure every element is accurate, cohesive, and aligned with the brand* **Growth Orientation** - You seek opportunities to enhance processes and improve future outcomes**Benefits & Compensation**At Resmed, we're shaping the future by investing in our people through competitive pay, flexible work arrangements, and programs that support personal and professional growth.**Benefits (employees working 30+ hours/week):*** Medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, and disability insurance* HSA, FSA, commuter benefits, and sleep care management* 401(k), ESPP, EAP, and tuition assistance* 15 days PTO in the first year* 11 paid holidays + 3 floating holidays* Up to 14 weeks primary caregiver leave or 2 weeks secondary caregiver leaveCompensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and skills.**Pay Range:** 70,000.00 - 88,000.00 - 106,000.00 USD AnnualResmed generally does not hire at or near the top of the pay range.
