Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist

Responsible for using tests and equipment outside of a patient's body to determine the health and condition of his or her heart and cardiovascular system

Principal Accountabilities:

• Performs non-invasive cardiac ultrasound in accordance with established departmental protocols and policies (as per ASE and IAC guidelines)
• Performs adult echo, TEE and stress echos
• Performs complete and thorough valve assessments and must be proficient with pedof probe
• Complies with hospital policies and procedures, attend department meetings and participate in various projects or assignments

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Preferred:

• Graduate of CAAHEP or ABHES Cardiovascular Technology program preferred
