Registered Nurse – NICU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level III/IV NICU setting, including management of complex neonatal cases
• Perform frequent trach care and support patients with bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), including those with extended lengths of stay
• Engage in heavy parent involvement and family-centered care practices
• Float to other units as needed, including PICU, CV PICU, stepdown, medical-surgical, and on rare occasion the ED
• Float to additional campuses as required, maintaining safe and appropriate patient care across settings

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio State RN License (must be in hand prior to start)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of Level IV NICU experience
• Minimum of 2 years total Level III/IV NICU experience
• Willingness and ability to float to multiple units and campuses as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with BPD patient population and long-term NICU care
• Familiarity with PICU or CV PICU patient care environments
• Comfort working across multiple hospital campuses and adapting to varied unit cultures
