About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in its ambitious growth trajectory. The CFO will be a key strategic partner, responsible for all financial management activities, including forecasting, capital planning, and operational alignment. This executive will lead the financial aspects of the business, from influencing long-term strategy and growth initiatives to driving M&A and capital structure planning. A strong background in construction, development, or related industries is essential, with a proven track record of scaling a company through operational discipline and strategic foresight. The successful candidate will also be adept at building and mentoring high-performing finance and accounting teams, championing innovation through financial technology, and managing key relationships with external partners. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or senior finance role. Expertise in construction finance, including WIP, bonding, and project accounting, is a must. The role requires exceptional communication skills, the ability to translate complex financials into actionable insights, and a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business. A CPA and/or MBA is preferred. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader, with a collaborative and high-integrity approach, and will be expected to be based in or willing to relocate to Iowa with a consistent on-site presence.
