Are you a skilled CDL-A Flatbed Driver who knows the NYC metro area inside and out? We’re seeking 1099 independent contractors to handle increased workload during our busy period, based out of Queens, NY .

Compensation (Independent Contractor)

• Hourly Rate: $31.00 per hour
• Tarp Pay: Yes, we offer tarp pay! (We try to avoid tarp loads for the most part so tarp loads are rare)
• Weekly Pay: Every Friday

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 10/13-speed manual transmission flatbed truck
• Navigate routes throughout NYC’s five boroughs, NJ, and CT
• Secure loads using straps and tarps (98% Strap & Go)
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues
• Maintain professional communication with dispatch, shippers, and receivers
• Complete required paperwork through our TMS driver app
• Keep equipment clean and in top condition

Schedule & Equipment

• Seasonal Position: Duration based on workload and performance
• Home Daily: All routes start and end in Queens, NY
• Schedule: Monday–Friday (weekends and holidays off)
• Equipment: Well-maintained 10/13-speed manual transmission trucks
• Terminal: Located in Queens, NY

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience
• Experience navigating NYC’s five boroughs required
• Flatbed securement and manual transmission experience required
• Clean driving record and strong safety history
