Shift: On-site for a 10-hour clinical shift

Description:

EMR System: Epic
Patients Per Shift: 13-18
Bed In Department: 20
Rounding: Both
Minimum Board Certification: Certified
License requirement to bid?: Licensed in ID or IMLC
Inpatient Cardiology service functions as a consultative service
Hospitalists manage most patient admissions
APP is scheduled on-site with the physician on a daily basis
Supports with day-to-day workflow and documentation
Provides routine clinic and inpatient consult coverage
Available for emergencies during clinical hours

Responsibilities:

Physician carries pager after clinical hours
Responsible for night call coverage
May include in-person callbacks as needed
Call Type: In-House
Call Ratio: 1:4
Phone Consults: 4 6
Patients Seen:
Admissions: 1 3
Call Back Rate: 20%
Call Response Time Required: Within 20 minutes
Locums Call Coverage: Both

Requirements:

Board Certified in Cardiology Required
Licensed in Idaho (ID) or IMLC Required
ACLS or BLS Certification Required
