Employment Type Part-time Requirements Licensure: Valid New York State Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical dental hygiene experience is required. Certification: Current CPR/BLS certification. Skills: Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently. Job Description Clinical Care: Perform comprehensive dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and periodontal maintenance. Diagnostics: Conduct oral cancer screenings, assess periodontal health, and take high-quality digital radiographs (X-rays). Education: Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, nutritional counseling, and preventative strategies. Documentation: accurately record patient treatment plans, medical history, and clinical notes. Infection Control: Adhere strictly to all sterilization protocols and OSHA safety guidelines to maintain a clean clinical environment. Collaboration: Work effectively with the dentist and support staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
