Our center spans over 5,000 square feet, featuring advanced treatment equipment designed to facilitate effective rehabilitation and promote optimal patient outcomes. Our team is comprised of experienced professionals, including two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering evidence-based care that meets the needs of our patients.

Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite in our outpatient office located in Paterson, NJ. The work setting is designed to foster collaboration among team members while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for patients. The facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology and ample space to conduct individual and group therapy sessions. Operating Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, we pride ourselves on maintaining a structured schedule that allows for efficient patient management and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and address each patient's specific healthcare needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to maximize patient mobility and function.
• Manage an effective caseload, typically servicing one patient per hour, to ensure thorough and attentive care.
• Implement and adjust treatment protocols based on ongoing assessments of patient progress, striving for continuous improvement.
• Educate patients on the importance of pain management strategies, alternative therapies, and preventative care options to minimize reliance on medication or surgical interventions.
• Motivate and empower patients throughout their treatment journey to enhance their functional abilities and overall health.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient care and treatment outcomes to comply with regulatory standards and facilitate seamless communication within the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to share insights and optimize patient treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery and injury rehabilitation. We primarily cater to individuals with private medical insurance, allowing us to provide personalized, high-quality services tailored to each patient's unique circumstances. Our goal is to enhance our patients' movement capabilities while promoting a healthy lifestyle through strength, flexibility, and balance training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Active and clean state license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Proven ability to employ manual therapy techniques effectively.
• Experience in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software platforms, specifically WebPT, for patient documentation and tracking.
• Exceptional communication skills to engage with patients and collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy setting is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with modern therapeutic modalities and evidence-based rehabilitation strategies.
• Demonstrable success in developing and executing patient exercise regimens tailored to specific rehabilitation goals.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
