Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Sonography/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring a General Ultrasound Sonographer with 3+ years experience and recent hands-on OB ultrasound skills for a day shift, no-call position in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom.

Diagnostic Imaging department providing outpatient, inpatient, and emergency imaging services to patients of all ages.

Day shift schedule with no call requirements.

13-week assignment starting on a Wednesday.

Guaranteed 32 hours per week, with 36 hours guaranteed during orientation week due to midweek start.

Critical access hospital setting with 25 beds.

Minimum 3 years of experience required.

Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.

Current ARDMS and RVT certification required.

BLS certification required.

Active state license required if applicable.

Recent, hands-on OB ultrasound experience required.

Must be able to independently perform 2nd and 3rd trimester OB imaging, including fetal anatomy, growth, and biophysical profile examinations.

Ability to independently perform general ultrasound examinations.

Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations while working closely with the physician team to deliver patient care.

Join a collaborative Diagnostic Imaging team.

Located in a rural area approximately two hours from the nearest major airport with no public transportation or ride-share options available.

A dependable personal vehicle is required for the duration of the assignment.

Housing is not provided, though a list of local housing resources can be made available.

Credentials must be submitted five business days before the start date to ensure smooth onboarding.
