What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including entrances, parking areas, hallways, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site-specific protocols.
• Support a professional healthcare environment by assisting with directions, answering routine questions, and communicating with site personnel regarding security-related concerns and/or operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
