Job Description

We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to perform civil design tasks, focusing on roadway geometrics, grading, and drainage systems. This role involves preparing plans, drawings, and technical documents using AutoCAD, and collaborating closely with project managers and senior engineers to develop designs. You will assist in site design, utility layouts, and stormwater management plans, and coordinate with clients, municipalities, and permitting agencies as needed. The position supports both private development and municipal infrastructure projects, offering a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil design tasks for roadway geometrics, grading, and drainage systems.
• Prepare plans, drawings, and technical documents using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers on design development.
• Assist with site design, utility layouts, and stormwater management plans.
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and permitting agencies as needed.
• Support both private development and municipal infrastructure projects.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience in civil design, particularly in site development, drainage, and grading.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in Civil Design.
• Understanding of roadway design, grading, and drainage fundamentals.
• EIT certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Civil 3D knowledge is advantageous but not required and can be taught.
• Ability to learn additional certifications.

Work Environment

The office is located in Industry City, Brooklyn, and offers a 100% design-focused role. The work schedule is from 9 AM to 5 PM. This is a Permanent position based out of Brooklyn, NY.

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Brooklyn,NY.
