Opportunity:


RN - MedSurg


Job Details:


• 12-hour variable shifts, primarily PM or Night shifts
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Nurse to patient ratio ranges from 1:4-5 on Days/Evenings and 1:6-7 on Evenings/Nights
• Occasional floating to other departments to assist with tasks such as vital checks without taking on a patient load
• May float to other nearby locations as needed
• Travelers may be placed on call during low census hours
• If called back to the facility, call back minimum is 2 hours
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required; ED or ICU experience very helpful
• Must be able to read telemetry strips
• Required certifications: WI or compact RN license, ARC or AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Any clean and work-appropriate scrubs accepted


Facility:


This is a 25-bed critical access hospital featuring a 20-bed unit with a typical census of 8-10 patients. The ICU and MedSurg departments operate as a shared unit, with the ICU consisting of 3 beds. The facility is committed to providing quality patient care in a collaborative environment that supports both staff and traveling healthcare professionals.
