Description

American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist for a night shift weekend contract requiring 1 year of recent GE MRI experience and ARRT certification.

Details

• Performs routine and specialized MRI procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department patients of all ages
• 10-hour night shifts on weekends only
• Every weekend schedule with 20 hours guaranteed per week

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent GE MRI experience required
• ARRT certification required (AMRIT certification will not be accepted)
• BLS required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Performs all MRI studies including administration of contrast media using age-appropriate technical and positioning protocols
• Assists radiologist with MR procedures as requested
• Evaluates MRI images for technical quality and performs equipment warm-up, calibration, and safety checks
• Adheres to MRI safety standards and maintains ARRT standards of practice
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this contract
