Job Summary The work study program provides funds for part-time employment to help students finance the costs of postsecondary education. The program encourages community service work and work related to the student’s course of study. The program is designed to provide students with an opportunity for employment arranged around class schedules, while providing essential services to the College and the community. Essential Functions Process and apply payments to student accounts. Review returned checks and direct funds/refunds as necessary. Review mail and other received items and distribute to the appropriate Student Accounts personnel. Work with Student Accounts specialists to generate and review department reports. Work at the front desk and assist with student questions and requests. Direct students to the correct specialist as needed. Student will gain exposure to processes in bookkeeping, accounting, regulation, and other applicable specialties. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Must be proficient with computers and Microsoft Office applications. Must be able to keep information confidential. Must be an effective communicator with the ability to work with others. Must be dependable and able to work an established schedule. Desired Qualifications Work Schedule 20 hours per week between the hours of 7:30am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday.
