SUMMARY OF POSITION: A Flooring Sales Representative aggressively grows sales and promotes the Builders Warehouse name. Sales Representative acts as a Builders Warehouse business representative for the decorating materials distribution channel. Manages accounts and provides customer service.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for selling flooring products to customer base
• Promote sales growth and business opportunities for all Builders Warehouse customers
• Work with Builders Warehouse customers to advise them of product solutions
• Provide business counsel and marketing advice to customers
• Provide sales and service support to homeowners in concert with contractors
• Support the order fulfillment process by working extensively with customer service, credit and delivery

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Experience in flooring or related sales is preferred
• Building industry knowledge required

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATION/FORMAL TRAINING

• Bachelor degree preferred
• Sales skill training

• Proven success in a sales territory
• Computer literacy with ability to learn new computer software programs

• Varies from inside office to outdoors at jobsites.

WAGE

Hourly wage plus monthly commission.
